Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods have finally confirmed they’re dating after months of keeping their relationship under wraps.

Woods and Vonn simultaneously released statements and a photo on their website and Facebook pages earlier today in regards to their new romance.

“I guess it wasn’t a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods. Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy,” the 28-year-old Olympic skier posted on her Facebook page. ”I don’t plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends.”

Woods, 37, wrote: “Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating.”  He added: ”We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”

His name still makes me sick. I might have a problem with holding grudges.

Quick screenshot mention of Bumpshack last night on ABC’s ‘Nightline’ story about Gina Rodriguez of DD Entertainment. Tiger Woods had a much calmer Thanksgiving this year compared to last year — not that that’s a hard feat.

Tiger took a break from prowling to be thankful for his children. The golf star and notorious woman-chaser spent this Thanksgiving in the company of his two kiddos — Sam (3) and Charlie (1.5) — and his mother, Kultida.

Tiger tweeted Friday:

“Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. I just finished a pretty tough cardio session this morning because of all the apple and pumpkin pie.”

Because Tiger’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren is Swedish, she does not celebrate Thanksgiving and allowed her kids to spend time with their dad.

A close friend of Elin says that one year later, she’s doing much better and is handling raising the kids on her own:

“She’s healing. She stays busy with the children and her college classes and is already planning for the holidays,”

“She wants to take a little more time before making more long-term plans but she does intend to find a charitable cause to dedicate her time and effort to.”

Ah, tis the season! Despite the Tiger hate, it’s good that he’s still making time for his kids, despite the marital issues. And good for Elin for letting him spend some quality time with the little ones to keep things as normal as possible for Sam and Charlie.

Tiger and Elin are now officially divorced. It’s not the end of the world. Elin tried what she could to make it work for the sake of their two kids. Tiger had already damaged their marriage beyond repair, we hope Elin found closure today.

The 30 year-old reportedly provided the magazine with several exclusive never-before-seen personal pictures and gave an intensive description of how exactly she felt as Tiger’s mistresses came out of the woods to slowly and painfully destroy their relationship.

“I never suspected, not a one,” she said in the exclusive interview. “For the last three-and-a-half years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.”

Elin, who may end up with more than $100 million after the divorce, is currently studying to get a degree in psychology and busy raising the couple’s two children, Sam and Charlie.
